Odinkalu Raises Fresh Questions Over Tinubu’s Educational Records

Human rights lawyer and former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission Governing Council, Professor Chidi Odinkalu, has questioned the publicly available information relating to President Bola Tinubu’s early education, parentage and nationality.
Speaking in a recent interview on Nigeria Info FM, Odinkalu argued that there are unresolved questions surrounding the President’s educational history, particularly the absence of publicly available records of his primary and secondary education.
He also referred to claims that Tinubu may have been homeschooled, maintaining that even in such circumstances, there should ordinarily be recognised certification before admission into a university.
Odinkalu further questioned how university records could exist without corresponding records of earlier education, insisting that the educational background of a sitting president should be open to public scrutiny.
His remarks have since generated renewed discussions on social media.
